TYPE II OVERKILL

Mathilda is her name for the three friends sharing her. Mathilda is a 
“Volkswagen Bus Type II Transporter“. In Italy’s torrid sun Mathilda’s 
soul conks out. The engine explodes, screws, nuts and engine fragments 
are hurled through the transporter’s cargo cell, bringing the two illegal 
czech hitchhikers into life danger. All in all a good reason for driver 
and co-driver to call their band “Type II Overkill”. 

They leave the bus in San Remo (I) and report it as stolen to be able 
to leave the number plate there. One day far in the future, so the plan, 
Mathilda shall be picked up and brought home again. 

 

After some changes, the group finally emerges into a stable constellation:
